Why this deck wins
It’s a colorless ramp deck: Eldrazi Temple and Urza’s Saga get mana going as early as turn one or two, while Ancient Stirrings and Malevolent Rumble dig through the top of the deck for exactly the colorless land or artifact it needs. That mana casts oversized threats on the cheap: Emrakul, the Promised End costs {1} less for each distinct card type in your graveyard, and Devourer of Destiny exiles an opposing colored permanent the moment it’s cast. Kozilek’s Command is the glue — depending on the X you pay, it makes mana tokens, draws a card, exiles a small creature, or strips graveyards, all off one card.
In the Top 8, Ingram beat Aaron Schwarcz in the quarterfinals (2-1), Brett Kroeger in the semis (2-0), and closed out the event 2-1 against Curtis Lam — who was on a Devoted Druid combo deck — in the final.
What it means for your table
Modern again, not Standard: none of it rotates. The event drew 1,494 players and paid the champion $20,000, plus a direct Pro Tour invite and a World Championship berth; runner-up Lam took home $10,000 and the same invitations.
When you sit down to play, MagicNexus has a worldwide ranking by format: log your Modern games and compete with your group in cups and leagues.
This deck follows Yuuki Ichikawa’s Pro Tour Marvel Super Heroes win in July with Simic Neoform, and Roy Varney taking Magic Spotlight: The Hobbit in Dallas in September with Izzet Prowess. The next Pro Tour is at MagicCon Atlanta, 13-15 November 2026.
